those materials made from a new localities in Western Hubei Pov. represens a new window of marine enviroments on the southe edge of Yangtze platform and Jiangnan transitional belt.

ordovician trilobites have been widly recrded from the Yangtze platfrom, but usually chipps. here we found some complete speciments in good quality.most of them are Liomegalaspides. with a few Hungioides.

Hungioides had been reported from Portugal and Spain before, but the chinese Hungioides are smaller in size.
